Something to think about

Does it strike anyone else as very odd that the push is to try, convict and put to death Staff Sgt. Robert Bales? Does he not deserve a fair trial?   The media has all but convicted this man.  However, I would like to point out that this is a soldier who has served several tours of duty and prior to this incident suffered a head injury, lost part of his foot and watched a friend of his suffer the loss of his leg the day prior to the attack.  Seems the media is slow to recall that we are in fact at WAR!

Even more troublesome is the media’s crucifixion of Staff Sgt. Robert Bales and there wilfulness in trying to push to the side the actions of the murderer of the Fort Hood massacre!  Remember that?  Major Nidal Malik Hasan killed 12 soldiers and injured 30 more back in 2009 at Fort Hood.  To date Major Nidal Malik Hasan has yet to face trial.  Instead of pleads for the death penalty, the push is to determine whether or not the man was insane.  Seriously?  What is the difference between these two men?  Why treat one differently than the other?  Just something to think about!

Staff Sgt. Robert Bales deserves a fair trial.

  1. He volunteered to give up his personal life to fight for and protect this country and us. He truly deserves a fair trail,
